When I found out I was pregnant with you, I was hit with a huge mix of emotions. At the forefront was panic. How do you take care of a baby? Was I emotionally prepared to have another human 100% dependent on me? And most of all, how was I supposed to keep you alive?? Never having taken care of a baby before, the mysteries of how to keep such a fragile thing from accidentally hurting itself was at the forefront of my mind. As you’ve grown in my belly, that panic has shifted to excitement. I already love you more than I thought possible, and I cannot wait to meet you.
I knew early on that I wanted the theme of your nursery to be "Winnie the Pooh." The books, shows, and movies were a big part of growing up for me, and I hope you will enjoy it just as much. Your nursery is certainly stocked with enough Winnie the Pooh memorabilia to last a lifetime. One of the things I enjoy most from Winnie the Pooh are the short but very meaningful quotes. One of those really hit home at my 8-week ultrasound, when you were still the size of bean:
